BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -It’s the period of providing, and 1 nearby business is giving back to cheerful givers by exchanging totally free haircuts for canned food stuff or non-perishable objects.
The annual celebration is hosted by the barbers, stylists, and beauticians at the Modern day Barber & Attractiveness Institute on Villa Maria Street in Bryan.
Ramsey and Jessica De La Cruz, the founders of the Contemporary Barber & Beauty Institute, say the no cost haircuts for foods generate is a way for persons to donate and make a variation in the local community. In return, the learners and team of the barber and attractiveness institute could give back to the customer.
”I just take it like it’s a two for a person,” explained Jessica. “The learners get the excess exercise. The community will get the discounted solutions, and then, in switch, we get to flip that all-around and still give to the less privileged.”
Food collected will be donated to the nonprofit Undertaking Unity.
